FlightSort — Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

FlightSort, based in Madrid, Spain. Contact: contact@flightsort.net.

2. Short summary

This site has no form of its own and no user accounts. We don't use tracking or third-party cookies. The only analytics we run is our own (GoatCounter, self-hosted on our server), which doesn't identify individuals and doesn't use cookies.

The only personal data we may receive is what you choose to send us by email.

3. What data we process

Data you send us by email: if you write to contact@flightsort.net (for example, by clicking "Request a demo"), we process the name, email address and message content you include yourself. The site has no form of its own — your email client sends the message directly.
Aggregated browsing data: through GoatCounter (our own analytics, self-hosted on our server) we record, anonymously and without cookies, which pages are visited, browser type and an approximate country of origin. No full IP address or identifier that could recognize you is stored.

4. Why we process it

To respond to your inquiries and demo requests.
To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used, so we can improve it.

5. Legal basis

Processing the emails you send us is based on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. Aggregated, anonymous analytics doesn't require consent, since it involves no identifiable personal data and no tracking cookies.

6. Retention

Emails are kept for as long as necessary to handle your inquiry and afterwards for as long as applicable regulations require. Aggregated analytics data doesn't identify individuals, so no personal-data retention period applies to it.

7. Recipients and third parties

We don't sell or share your information with third parties. The only technical providers involved are the site's and the analytics server's hosting (our own infrastructure on a hosting provider within the European Union). We don't use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics service.

8. Cookies

This site doesn't use tracking or third-party cookies. The language switch (ES/EN) stores your preference only in your browser's local storage (localStorage); that value is never sent to any server or shared with anyone.

9. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to contact@flightsort.net. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or your local supervisory authority.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or applicable regulations change. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page.
